The women in my life: Jenny Agutter

Logan’s Run. Have you ever seen that movie? It’s one of my all time favourites and stars none other than Jenny Agutter. Ironically she also starred as Nurse Price in another one of my favourite movies, ’An American Werewolf in London’.

Over time society’s perception of beauty changes and today, looking at Jenny’s pictures, you might not see why she was such a hot commodity back in the day. At the time though she was the centerpiece of many a man’s dream.

I guess Ms Agutter first found her sex symbol status by starring in the movie ’Walkabout’ where she played a sixteen year old schoolgirl lost in the Australian outback. Ms Agutter was actually 19 at the time but her innocent look made her appear younger...think of a modern day Anna Kournikova and you’ve got the same type of facial look.

Jenny is still plying her trade today and is currently 56 years old. Obviously she’s not as popular or as famous today as she once was but I’m certain Jenny will still, in Britain at least, be entered into the history books as one of our best loved actresses.

Today’s devoid of humour blog is sending out respect to the much adored Jenny Agutter.
